I haven't picked up a knitting needle in M...

I haven't picked up a knitting needle in MANY years, but I have a new granddaughter, and got it in my head that I wanted to make her something, so ordered this beginners knit hat kit. I had to start over a few times, and it took me a while, but I'm very pleased with the end result! The kit itself had everything I needed, and the you tube videos were easy to follow. The yarn is lovely and very soft ... perfect for a baby's head. The pattern is easy to follow, and presented enough new skills to make me feel like I really accomplished something. If I can do it, so can you!
