The main skein begins with a soft Marzipan base, then is hand-painted with washes of Marine, Dusty Plum, Cinnamon, and Honey, creating layers of color reminiscent of sun-warmed canyon walls beneath a deepening evening sky. Speckles of Honey and Marine dance across the skein for an extra pop of color and a little bit of that Sunny Day Fiber magic.
Paired with coordinating mini skeins in cinnamon and dusty plum, Painted Desert is perfect for creating contrasting cuffs, heels, and toes—or adding stripes and other colorful details to make your socks completely your own.

The yarn is next-to-skin soft, squishy and is an absolute dream to knit up. It is perfect for socks, hats, shawls, scarves, sweaters or anything else you would like to create with it. Please order enough yarn to complete your project so that your skeins are better matched. If you need more than what is available, please send us a message and we will create a custom order for you. While we try to maintain consistency with our yarns, hand dyed yarns are never the same!!! If you are working with more than 1 skein of the same color, it is recommended to alternate skeins every two rows.

When necessary, please hand wash your knitted object gently in cool water and lay flat to dry. Minor bleeding may occur on your first wash. Each hand dyed skein is unique.
